What we cover

We focus on the questions players ask before they buy, pre-order or upgrade a game.

  • Game news

Announcements, delays and confirmed release dates, reported from official channels.

  • Editions and upgrades

What each edition includes, what an upgrade costs, and whether there is any reason to rush.

  • Guides and explainers

Platform details, pre-order terms, content and feature breakdowns explained in plain language.

  • Upcoming games

Confirmed details for major releases, updated as publishers share new information.

How we research every article

We are upfront about this: we do not publish hands-on reviews or claim to have played the games we cover. Every article is built from research and analysis of verifiable sources, and we link to those sources so you can check our work.

The official sources we rely on most include:

PlayStation Blog Xbox Wire Nintendo (US) Rockstar Newswire Steam Store ESRB ratings

From announcement to published article

  1. 1

    Collect

We gather the official announcement, store listing, patch notes or rating.

  2. 2

    Cross-check

Each fact is confirmed against a second reliable source. Unconfirmed reports are clearly labeled or left out.

  3. 3

    Analyze

We work out what it means for US players: price in USD, platforms, dates and editions.

  4. 4

    Review

A second team member checks facts, links and clarity before the article goes live.

  5. 5

    Update

When a publisher changes a date or detail, we update the article and note the change.
